Clinical and Sport Psychologist

RELATIONSHIPS
Looking to develop stronger relationships? More intimacy or connectedness? Better communication skills or conflict management? Let's figure out what makes this hard and build the social life you want.
ATHLETICS
We can work together to identify barriers to your athletic performance and develop meaningful strategies to move you towards your goals. Common topics include: Focus, Recovery from Injury, Motivation, Confidence, Performance Anxiety, Body Image, Time Management, Goal Setting.

WORK
What brings meaning to your work? How can you show up and outperform yesterday? We can explore your productivity, motivation, or management style to maximize success. We can also work on communicating more effectively at work.

MENTAL HEALTH
Mood difficulties like depression and anxiety can prevent us from reaching our potential. Therapy works by creating a space for vulnerability and exploration so that you can identify patterns and make changes to improve your well-being.

ABOUT ME
My Goal:
I hope to help my clients self-reflect, explore vulnerabilities, identify patterns, gain insight, and develop new perspectives or strategies.

My Training:
I graduated Cum Laude from Franklin & Marshall College, where I was a four-time All-American swimmer. I earned my doctorate in Clinical Developmental Psychology from Bryn Mawr College, ultimately specializing in Sport Psychology through my internship and post-doctoral residency at Lehigh University Counseling and Psychological Services. I am a member of the Clinical and Counseling Sport Psychology Association.

My Perspective:
As a former student-athlete, I relate to the challenges of finding balance and optimizing performance. After coaching at the college level, I also understand the coaching role and its complexities. As a collegiate sport psychologist, I have experience providing mental health and peak performance services to athletes, coaches, and staff. I continue to compete in sprint triathlons and long distance races, where I experiment with the same performance strategies I recommend to clients.
